Why CROSBY...?

I've been asked many times, "why did you name this line CROSBY?" 

It was September of 2014, my friend Ariel and I were visiting New York City for Coterie fashion market. As we were on the plane to NYC I was newly pregnant, had told almost no one, and had a voracious appetite. We laugh now because Ariel said she noticed I was eating with a greater degree of passion that day. I broke the news to her that evening I was pregnant with our third babe. I shared my confidence that it was another girl and I was in search of a name. 

As we were walking around the city the next day the name CROSBY came to mind and it stuck like glue. I sure hoped my husband liked it because that was going to be girl #3. haha. As assumptions go, I was wrong and with great joy we were about to welcome a baby boy. 

Years later, the name CROSBY was still on my mind. As the idea of a silky tee line was birthed, I thankfully had a name in waiting. Welcome CROSBY!
